Swarm works with the image of a buzzing crater formed by young male bodies twisting into a common mass – erasing the personal. It is similar to battlefield rituals: inspired by one youtube video in which volunteers from Ural (War in Donbass) performed the dance of death I recreated the rhythm of military ritual saturated with sensе of suspense and horror. While creating this video, I raised an issue of the legitimacy of compulsory military service through which the government persuades young men to get involved in its military operations.
