My artistic practice and interests are built around the theme of hidden aggression. Working with such media as video and performance, I use documentary materias (news stories, YouTube videos) and personal experiences (memories, diaries of media characters) as a reference point for creating a visual and plastic image.
In my work, Kahegha, while building a heterogeneous image space (a media landscape, a theatrical play, a re-act, game aesthetics) and a documentary evidence (personal acquaintance with a political criminal). In the course of my artistic practice, I experiment with visual exposure, and with the techniques of the new narrative, in particular, dissecting the language of media and media archeology.
In my performative practice, I use ritual and sports choreography to build a score of performance. Currently, I am studying the possibilities of expanding the choreographic and corporal in the live-streaming space. For me, video and performance are inseparable mediums, because the experience and techniques found in one field can move on to or include another.
In my last project Maybe Therapy? I focus on the subject of antidepressants and various types of therapy among adolescents who seek to replace their feelings with concepts from psychiatry and psychology. I work with aesthetics of commercials and video clips.
Part of the artistic practice and method is mixing different visual languages and genres as well as searching for documentary stories, discussions in media and social networks.
